Here i go, my third times visiting singapore. it held in the end of august. Actually, my plan was only travell to bangkok, thailand. Nia who is my travelling partner this time suggested me to visit singapore for a few days. To be honest i was not interested to go back there, but since nia hasn't been there, and she really want to visit singapore, i put singapore in my itinerary. Well it's actually not a problem, moreover i never get a chance to visit Universal Studio Singapore. And i thought that time would be my time !
So, i bought the tickets in 29th august, took air asia's morning flight, the flight was taken 2 hours 30 minutes and indonesia's time is one hour behind singapore's time. Landed safely at Changi International airport, we directly took MRT to get the hotel. Because Nia is much more girly than me, So she requested to choose the private room to stay. When i offered her many choices of hostel which absolutely would be cheaper than a hotel fares, she clearly refused it. Because of i consider to the low budget, i was looking for the cheapest hotel in singapore, and the choice was Amerise Hotel, Geylang, Singapore. I already know, that Geylang district is popular by its red district. This was also my second time staying at geylang district, and actually that was not that creepy at all.
Back to our arrival from airport to the hotel, we stopped at Aljunied station which i look on the map is the nearest station to get the hotel. Handled the agoda voucher and the print out of its address and map location which i got from the website. Only carrying one 60 liter carrier in my back, i walked faster than Nia who look busy and tired with her one big luggage and other additional bags.
Walked about 15 minutes, suddenly Nia complained on how far we've walked, she always asked me whether we're almost there. And eventually, we got the hotel, i talked to an old singaporean lady who was sitting behind the receptionist table whose the owner of the hotel. Fyi because of the high daily cost of Singapore, Singapore citizen who called Singaporean decided to manage their own business by themselves.
It didn't need much time to check into the hotel, the staffs were all nice and spoke english fluently. Opened the room, i and Nia surprisingly starred each other, the room was so small, the size was about 3mx3m with one double bed, one table mirror, and 1m x 1.5m shower room. But it's quite good for tourists who need a good place to stay with the low fare.
After took shower, we went out the hotel based on my itinerary. It's shopping day. We went to center point and IKEA. There wasn't station near the IKEA location, so according to the informations i have got from browsing, We have to took the mrt and stopped at red hill station, then walked out and across the street to reach the bus station, took the bus number 64/33 and stopped at center point halte.
From IKEA, we were going to Orchard road, walked around the orchard road, from mall to another mall. Shopped here, shopped there, bought King ice cream for two times. Took photos everywhere, chilled out at the pedestrian, sat relaxed and starred singaporean who walked much faster than indonesian.

Second day in Singapore, it's gonna be a long full day out for Universal Studio Singapore trip. From Aljuined station, we were heading to Harbourfont Station which is located on vivo city basement. Went to the third floor of vivo city and found the sentosa express monorail.
